The process for creating an assignment and configuring its settings in flowdit is outlined below:
Assignment Configuration:
Title:
Enter the title for your assignment.
Same as Checklist:
Choose whether the assignment title should be the same as the checklist.
Type:
Determine the type of the assignment ('Assignment', 'Schedule', 'Mix').
If 'Schedule' or 'Mix' is chosen, provide recurrence settings (Frequency, Repeat every, Start, End).
Validity:
Set the duration for which the assignment remains valid.
Checklist:
Choose the checklist associated with this assignment.
Asset:
Choose any assets (digital content, information, or elements) associated with this assignment.
Restricted Mode:
Restrict access or editing capabilities if necessary.
Auto-Finish:
When enabled, the assignment status will automatically change to 'Finished' once all assigned assets have completed reports.
Note: Selected folders in the checklist will deactivate the checkbox.
Assigned To:
Specify the user(s) or group(s) to whom this assignment is to be delegated.
Is Collaborative:
Toggle this setting on if multiple people can work on this assignment simultaneously and off if the assignment is intended for solo work.
By configuring these settings, you define the parameters and characteristics of the assignment, ensuring it aligns with the specific requirements and goals of the task at hand. Once saved, the assignment is ready for deployment and execution.
